| Profile | "Chanteuses is a nonprofit arts organization
dedicated to bringing choral and other music to the Sacramento Community
through concerts and community events. They are known for their
superb blend and distinct sound. This fine ensemble of select voices was
formed in the fall of 1996, and since then, they have enjoyed exploring
the surprisingly diverse choral literature for treble voices, including
a wide variety of sacred and secular music. "Chanteuses has performed with other regional fine arts organizations, including Bear Valley Music Festival, The Camellia Symphony, the Deane-Crockett Dance Studio and the Elk Grove Community Band. Chanteuses participated in the International Church Music Festival in Bern, Switzerland in the summer of 2005. Chanteuses has also toured Switzerland and France, and performed at churches in Bern, Switzerland; Lyon, France; and Nice, France." |
