Description: "Experience forbidden love, fierce family loyalties, and the ruthless feud between the Sharks and the Jets through the iconic music of West Side Story! As part of the global celebration of Leonard Bernstein’s 100th birth year, join the Sacramento City Choral and Vocal Program as they present Bernstein’s legendary, Broadway-shaping musical interpretation of Romeo & Juliet, in concert. With a full cast and ensemble of more than 60 performers—comprised of students from the Sacramento City College Vocal & Choral Program—the music comes to life through this very this special production. Immerse yourself in the world of West Side Story with an outstanding cast, professional chamber ensemble and our amazing choral ensembles."
