Sacramento Youth Symphony

Event

Courage & Valor

Description:  "Sacramento Youth Symphony's Premier Orchestra along with a 200-member choir (all four Los Rios Community College choirs) will thank men and women of Law Enforcement and Firefighting for their service and dedication to our community.

"Joining us for this patriotic and inspiring event will be Liz Tubbs from the Sacramento Pipe Band, playing 'Amazing Grace' on the bagpipes with the orchestra, tenor Jaeho Lee singing the great aria 'Nessum Dorma' by Puccini, and conductors Daniel Paulson and Dr. Ralph Hughes conducting 'Hymn to the Fallen' (John Williams) and 'Homeland' (Z Randall Stroope).  iHeart Radio will be onsite and will be providing the emcee for this special event.  We will have a color guard including members from the different departments, a fastastic Fireman duet, and moving and patriotic music concluding with the powerful '1812 Overture" of Tchaikovsky.
